Sean was born and raised in Winnipeg. He attended the University of Manitoba and earned a Degree in Political Science. From university, he continued his studies attending the Winnipeg Police Academy in 1995 to pursue a career in law enforcement. In 1996 he began as a Constable with the Winnipeg Police Service. He continued his law enforcement career for another 9 years working as a constable, as well as a Detective in numerous Specialty Units.
In 2004, Sean left the Police Service to pursue a career in the private sector, accepting a position at GlaxoSmithKline as a Representative where he gained a good understanding of the pharmaceutical industry. In 2008, he continued his career in healthcare joining the surgical division of Olympus Canada, where he represented numerous products in therapeutic areas such as Thoracic Medicine, Urology, Gynecology, ENT and General Surgery.
In 2010, he joined Abbott Medical Optics (now Johnson and Johnson) in their Ophthalmology Surgical Division and between 2010-2014 represented their Cataract Division. In 2012 he was awarded Canadian Cataract Surgical Specialist of the Year. During 2014-2015, he enrolled in University of Notre Dame Mendoza School of Business preparing him for his promotion to Regional Sales Manager for the Cataract Surgical Division in the spring of 2015. As manager, he was responsible for negotiating with large buying groups, Regional and Provincial RFP’s, as well as trying to influence and shape policy. In 2016 he was awarded Regional Sales Manager of the Year.
In Sept 2018, Sean joined HUMN Pharmaceuticals as VP Global Sales and Marketing.
